African Sonic Research is a multidisciplinary project which explores the intersection of sound, ritual and experimentation through the African
diaspora. Drawing on a breadth of Black sonic traditions, this project aims to create and space for both listening and reflection.

The project currently holds a residency on the Accra-based Oroko Radio, offering bi-monthly broadcasts. Each broadcast features an assemblage of ambient, experimental & and meditative
sounds from throughout the African diaspora.

African Sonic Research not only frames the scope of the project, but also denotes a continual practice that explores sound alongside Afrodiasporic thought, writing and art.
